There is something about february which makes it exciting. Sarahs 16th, my 20th, starting 2rd year med on the 22nd, moving back to trinity on the 20th, holidaying in adelaide with Bronte, Emma and Rhian from the 8th to 15th, valentines day... well that could be exciting or depressing! I do like feb :)
Happy birthday Sarah! We had a nice time out at the white elephant thai restuarant tonight to celebrate her 16th birthday. Mum and i suprised her by pulling outside sears cafe where she was having breakfast with her friends in her new red getz!! now i can ask the question 'how do the jurgy sisters getz around??' i have been spending too much time around dad to make his jokes :P I drove it down from Perth secretly on wednesday. I went to perth to have a radio lollipop interview which i have been hoping to get for 6 months! it was very exciting :) I caught the bus up in the morning and had a nice time shopping with lexi, having a muffin and drink in the sun and caught the bus to PMH.
I love the rainbow corridor and the set up with so many fun bright activity rooms for the children! I felt like this is where i want to be. I really hoope i can start radio lollipop and help out supporting, playing with and entertaining the children.... and one day be a paediatrician! the interview seemed to go really well. they asked me a few questions about why i was interested in joining and what qualities i had to bring to the organisation along with my response to some scenarios. I took a punt and showed them my finger puppets i had made and asked whether i could give them to or simply play with them with the children if i got in and they said yes!! I have decided to find a simple story and to make fingerpuppet characters to act out the story for the children, i would absolutely love to do that :) It makes me look forward to the coming year and years of studying med. But for now i do hope i can start radio lollipop soon!
Another great moment in feb.. nan and pop have their 60th wedding anniversary lunch tomorrow at Tides restuarant on Busselton :) happy anniversary nan and pop! the actual date is the 11th of feb. love you both :)
