We had a quick tour of Denmark and i loved it already. It is nice and cool, next to a river and only a few minutes from a lovely beach! (although to swim would be rather cold haha). I loved the green trees and the friendly atmosphere, we even said hi to some friendly Kangaroos next to the roads. Kyles house is lovely, it is a nice big property with 3 horses! I love the inside, it feels so homey and welcoming, i loved the yellow walls :) His mum and dad are awesome! They are so nice and friendly and bubbly people, i loved chatting to them and we a lovely dinner together.
Up at Trinity in Perth you don't tend to spend a great deal of time one on one with people with so many friends around, which is awesome, but it was so nice to just spend time with Kyle as just us. We watched the movie 'Up' that night, it is a funny one! But cuddles won the night over by miles :)
The next morning everyone including Kyle was working, I don't know how Kyle managed to have only a few hours sleep and get up for work at 5am! and still come back with a smile, he is amazing. But after some breakfast it was nice to sit outside and read some of Harry Potter with the horses and their dog Carne :) Kyle came back early at 10, so we got to chat and found ourselves cooking up a storm of special scrambled eggs or should i say "Oeufs brouillés spécial" via French Master-chef Kyle!

With our bellies full we then headed out for some desert at the chocolate lounge, we were the only ones at the time and had some lovely chocolate truffles and hot drinks, i tried the chili, sea salt and almond chocolate truffle which was so good!
Our next stop was at Williams Bay and Greens Pool where Kyles sister Jess was married just a few weeks ago. It is so nice, i loved the rock just off the beach and the calm pool with large waves in the background.

Further down the road we came across the Honey Meadery, it is a small place but with many kinds of honey, ice cream and even a glass bee hive to see all the bees! I found some cinnamon honey :) We then headed back to Kyle's house but had a quick stop off at his high school, at his house i learnt a new card game of Gin Rummie! It is lots of fun, Kyle and I played with Kyle's mum Robyn, i had the giggles and laughed quite a bit! One simple thing i really liked was going with Kyle to feed the horses, I loved the smell of the hay and the feed, it reminded me of the little horse riding i did and also our old rabbits and guinea pigs, but there is something about hay and its smell that have a really good feeling of being in the country. We also had a little walk down to a small lake and i learnt to skip a rock, yay! mine bounced twice but it will take some practice to skip one as far as Kyle! After another lovely dinner that night we watch the movie School of Rock :) Kyle was so tired from work and missed the end but i was surprised he even lasted until then!
The next day, Saturday, we spent the whole morning lying on Kyle's Kenya bed looking over cook books and chatting, I loved it :) My favorite was Kyle's hand written cook book with his special recipes he has cooked over the past 2 years or so, there are some really good one in there! So we decided on making a chicken with scone topping dish :) Back into town we stopped by Robyn's library which was just painted and done up and looks great! It was closed but we still got to look around inside and chat. For luch we went out to the cheese factory and had a delicious platter of Brie, cracked pepper and Blue cheese with olives, hams and bread and biscuits... yum!! it was such a nice spot up on a hill too!

Before heading back to Kyle's we stopped into town and got some ingredients for dinner then headed back to the house and started cooking :) well Kyle made most of it but i had fun chopping the veges and stirring the fry pan! It tasted delicious :) Afterwards Kyle drove us to Albany about 40 minutes away and to the cinema's to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. He had already seen it so I was lucky he was happy to see it twice and take me, it was a really good movie so now i can read all the book and be ready for part 2! Coming back into the house we saw at least 2 shooting stars.. i love the stars in Denmark you can see so many! Kyle's room has so many glow in the dark stars on his roof but once i saw the stars in Denmark at night i realized their is actually that many stars seen there!! I could stare at them for hours and hours, I don't want to blink in case i miss a shooting star!
The few days i was their had gone too quick and before i knew it i was back on the bus Sunday morning saying bye to Kyle and heading to Bunbury. I hope I can go back to Denmark soon, I had such a good time there :)
