Pistachio, White chocolate and Honey Macaroons

I have always wanted to make macaroons, and with a week break inspired by the French cook Julia Child's 100th Birthday i was ready to give them a try! I had a Pistachio, White chocolate and Honey recipe from a High Tea book i love, found the ingredients from the shop and i was off!
Step 1 - assemble the ingredients
Grinding the pistachio's
Egg whites, castor sugar and green colouring!
Mixing the pistachio's, almond meal and icing sugar
Piping the macaroon shells :)

Sprinkled with ground Pistachio's
A little production line happening
With white chocolate and honey filling... Yum!

With strawberries on the side these made a tasty desert with the family! Apparently they were better than the ones in Paris according to Sarah... i'll take it :P Can't wait to try new flavours!!
