Holidays Day 2 - Home Sweet Home :)

Up at 7am i tidied my room as Kyle learnt about Taekwondo for his grading this afternoon, then we had a lovely trip to Subiaco to meet his older Sister Jess and her husband Suddy. They are lovey together and this is such an exciting time for them! Jess is pregnant (Kyle will soon be an Uncle!!!) and they had a trip up to Perth from Denmark to have their 12 week scans. Poor Jess was so nervous, they have had trouble with miscarriages  the past year but this time everything is thankfully going so well! They looked so happy and vibrant when we saw them, you could not tell Jess had been having bad morning sickness the past few weeks as she was glowing with happiness :) Although they were not planning on finding out there was no mistake that they have a little boy coming which makes it all the more real picturing the little boy in the future running around their property... so exciting! It makes me think about my friends who are my age having children and wondering when i would be ready to have a family, it would be amazing and something to look forward to in the future... no doubt a few years down the track after i graduate! We had coffee and scones at Dome before heading our separate ways again. I loved seeing her scans which were so clear you could even see his little foot and count his toes! adorable :) He is due around Christmas time so Kyle is lucky to be able to be in Denmark with his family when it happens :)

I headed to the UWA gym and got inspired watching a world athletics championships on the TV there seeing Sally Pearson win the 100m Hurdles and Usain Bolt win the 100m sprint. Then i sorted out my little room and head home :) It was so nice to be greeted in the car by my parents and Bella and Lucy who are always so happy to see me and make me feel right at home! I love how Bella goes crazy and Lucy follows you into your room and plays 'Sharkies' in her excitement. Mum made me a green smoothie and dad a pumpkin scone and i finally felt like i was able to relax :) I joined mum and dad taking Bella and Lucy for a walk then tried the recipe for pan bread which lexi told me... it was amazing for being so simple! I made a plain and a garlic one to nibble on before a lovely home cooked meal from mum.
1/2 cup SR flour, 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt and a pinch of bicarb - Yum!
Pan bread cooking away :)
Kyle's white roses home in a cute little glass bottle
Then i sat down to watch Burlesque, i have had a craving to watch it for 2 weeks now after talking to Em about it and finally got to! After that i was definitely ready for my own bed and to catch up on some sleep...
